Roca presents Mediterranean Rituals, a spatial installation exploring the spaces where everyday bathroom routines take shape. Designed by the Barcelona-based architecture studio Mesura, the pavilion brings together the brand’s latest collections, technologies and design collaborations within an architectural setting inspired by Mediterranean architecture
Conceived as a sequence of interconnected spaces, the installation guides visitors through different areas where materials, light and proportion shape the atmosphere of each setting. Within this composition, Roca’s products are experienced as part of a continuous spatial narrative.
Mesura developed the concept drawing on architectural traditions in which thresholds, transitions and shared spaces organize the experience of the home. These references inform a modular composition of intersecting volumes and carefully shaped voids that structure the installation.
This arrangement creates distinct settings for the different collections while maintaining a coherent architectural language throughout the space. A central staircase forms the defining gesture of the stand, referencing the continuity between interior and exterior typical of Mediterranean architecture. Within this composition, Roca’s products appear as integral elements of the overall sequence.
“The bathroom is one of the most technically complex spaces in the home. It requires the integration of product design, installation systems and advanced technologies, increasingly connected, in order to function as a coherent whole,” says Marc Viardot, Marketing and Design Director at Roca Group. “Our presentation reflects this integrated approach, showing how architecture and design can frame and enhance the experience of the bathroom.”
Within this setting, Roca presents a selection of collections that reflect the breadth of its product development, from complete bathroom solutions and sanitary innovations to faucets and modular furniture systems. Together they illustrate the brand’s approach to designing bathrooms where aesthetics, functionality and technology work together.
Redesigned by the Barcelona-based studio Altherr Désile Park, Meridian represents the evolution of one of Roca’s most recognizable bathroom collections.
The design explores the balance between geometry and softness through a language of arches and curves in which the square is inscribed within fluid forms. By combining ceramics, furniture and metal finishes, Meridian offers a complete bathroom solution that brings warmth, versatility and clarity to contemporary interiors.
In-Wash® Vorea is the latest addition to Roca’s range of smart toilets, integrating advanced hygiene and comfort functions within a design that maintains the familiar appearance of a conventional toilet.
The system incorporates washing and drying functions designed to enhance personal hygiene while maintaining a discreet and intuitive user experience. By integrating technology seamlessly within the product, In-Wash® Vorea reflects Roca’s ongoing work to improve comfort and wellbeing in everyday bathroom use.
The Ohtake collection reflects Roca’s collaboration with Brazilian architect Ruy Ohtake, now continued by his son Rodrigo Ohtake. The collection brings together architecture and ceramic design through a language of organic forms characteristic of the Ohtake family’s work.
Avant introduces a new approach to toilet design by combining an integrated cistern system with a flushing mechanism that operates without electricity. This solution simplifies installation while optimizing space in the bathroom, allowing the toilet to function as a self-contained unit without the need for complex wall systems.
The system incorporates a patented flushing technology based on the Venturi effect, ensuring a powerful and efficient flush while maintaining high standards of hygiene and reliability. With features such as Roca Rimless® Vortex flushing and the Supraglaze® surface treatment, Avant combines technical innovation with everyday practicality.
Roca also presents Verso, a modular bathroom furniture system conceived to offer maximum freedom of configuration while maintaining a clear and consistent design language.
Designed as a flexible system rather than a closed set of solutions, Verso allows users and professionals to compose bathroom spaces that adapt naturally to different lifestyles, spatial constraints and project requirements. Its modular structure combines base units, storage elements and countertops that can be configured in multiple ways while maintaining visual coherence. A continuous aluminium handle runs across the furniture front, creating a horizontal line that visually connects the modules and reinforces the clarity of each composition.
Roca also introduces a redesigned version of its L20 faucet. The update refines the collection’s clean and balanced design language while expanding its versatility across different bathroom environments.
Defined by precise lines and carefully proportioned forms, L20 offers a comprehensive range of faucet solutions designed to combine reliability, functionality and a restrained, timeless aesthetic.
Through Mediterranean Rituals, Roca presents the bathroom as an integral part of the home, shaped not only by products and technologies but also by architecture, materials and the rhythms of everyday life. By placing its collections within a carefully articulated spatial setting, the pavilion shows how design can transform daily routines into meaningful domestic rituals.
