Jump The Gap, Roca International Design Contest, is aimed at creative people who think towards the bathroom future whilst designing today.
The Roca International Design Contest, Jump the Gap, is aimed at young professionals and students in architecture and design, less than 35 years old. An ideal platform for new generations to show their talent and visions in designing the bathroom of the future.
Since the very beginning, Jump the Gap has relied on a jury of prestigious architects and designers. Among the presidents of the previous years figure Ron Arad, John Pawson, Benedetta Tagliabue and Rafael Moneo. This year, the president of the jury is Japanese architect Kazuyo Sejima.
Kazuyo Sejima has been awarded many prizes such as the Prize of Architectural Institute of Japan, The Ministry of Education’s Art Encouragement Prize and the Pritzker Architecture Prize 2010.
