Multicultural vocation
Roca’s desire to be as close as possible to its customers and users means that the company adapts to the particular characteristics of the countries where it operates. Its position as world leader and its multicultural vocation have been materialised in a large number of ways, including the production of magazines, catalogues and technical publications for over 135 countries.
Roca is a point of reference in progress, solidity and excellence. Its products shape lifestyles in different societies all over the world.
Roca addresses itself directly to consumers through its magazine “Everything in Bathrooms,” adapting its contents to the various markets. In the year 2008 almost two million copies were printed, with editions in 16 different languages.
Roca’s entry into the markets of India, Croatia and Romania, with its own production centres, or the opening of commercial offices in Dubai and Sydney, are clear examples of the company’s multicultural philosophy.
Close to the consumer
As a result of Roca’s determination to maintain a close relationship with its consumers, it has inaugurated showrooms in Sofia, Beijing and Casablanca to create “bathroom experiences.”
In 2009 the firm inaugurated the Roca Barcelona Gallery, the new flagship building of the Roca brand. This unique space is the work of the Barcelona-based OAB architecture studio. The project, signed by Carlos Ferrater and Borja and Lucía Ferrater, demonstrates Roca’s passion for cutting-edge design.
Roca Barcelona Gallery is the first of a number of centres that will soon be opened thanks to the work of leading figures in contemporary architecture such as Carlos Lamela, the author of the Madrid showroom, or Zaha Hadid, who has created our building in London. Moreover, different forms of collaboration have been developed in order to maximise the possibilities of the exhibition halls of our national and international distributors. Roca participates and advises in the design and creation of exhibition halls, provides product display units and offers the installation of elements with the corporate image that identifies the Roca brand.
